This NSi Industries SSA200R-24 digital timed switch accepts 24 VAC or 24 VDC input and its SPDT output contacts can activate a one amp load. This timer includes eight timed On settings from ten minutes to eight hours with an automatic Off and warning signal before Off. A digital display indicates time status. The single-pole double-throw (SPDT) contacts are housed within a single-gang in-wall switch that is suitable for indoor use and is Underwriter Laboratories (UL) Listed and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certified for quality assurance. This switch is suitable for controlling lighting and fans.

Automatic switches are used to turn on or off electrical devices and are activated by time, light, and motion. Time activated switches (also known as timers) operate at preset time intervals during a daily or weekly period and can be either mechanical or electronic. Automatic switches are used to control indoor lights, outdoor lights, appliances, and small equipment motors.
